We Make Our Own Pottery

Welcome to Doodlin Pottery where we provide the pottery and paint (glazes actually), and you provide the inspiration to create your own one-of-a-kind piece of kiln fired painted pottery.

There is a $7 studio fee for each painter aged seven and older, and $5 for each painter under six. Each painter only pays one studio fee regardless of how many pieces of pottery they paint.

Studio fees cover the cost of the paints and kiln firing the pottery. The cost of pottery is separate and we have a very wide range of pottery to choose from.

At Doodlin Pottery, we make a lot of the pottery in our store ourselves, right here in Cincinnati, which helps keep our prices down.

We learned how to hand-build and slip cast pottery many years ago in art school and are proud to offer our community handmade ceramics using techniques that have been around for thousands of years! Our nearly 500 plaster, slip cast molds, allows us to make unique pieces of pottery that are difficult or unavailable to purchase from other manufacturers.
